At this year's HiFi Show in London i suddenly heard music coming from a room. Music! Not "HiFi" like in so many other rooms.

It was fun music and the sound was VERY good. I got curious and just had to enter - and then I saw the strangest CD's I've ever seen - lots of reissues of old 78 rpm records in Dolby Surround!!!

All 78's are of course in MONO and it is next to impossible to imagine surround sound from such a record. I remember the horrible fake stereo that flourished in the 60's, before practically all records were recorded in stereo.

This sounded good though, and it was fantastic music, so I bought a large number of the discs to be able to evaluate them in a known environment.

As you can see I became so impressed that I decided to include them among the items on this site. I have never heard these goodies sound like this regardless of which transfer I have listened to!

The discs are produced using Cedar processing and Dolby Surround encoder and plays without any problem in any ordinary CD player. the are 100% compatible with standard stereo and mono reproduction, but to listen to them in surround you need a decoder.

A very warm recommendation!!!
